Utah Jazz Game!!

Last weekend my family took a quick trip up to Utah and Idaho for the Utah Jazz Basketball game! It was so much fun! We got there early and took some pictures and while we were doing that I took a picture of the Bear (Utah Jazz's mascot), and he motioned for me to come down to the court where he was. I quickly gave Mathew the camera and ran down there. The bear grabbed my arm and pulled me across the court to the middle of the court so that Mathew could take a couple pictures of me and the Bear! So cool!!! It was a lot of fun and extremely LOUD!

Headed to the middle of the court!

6 Months!

Travis and I have now been married for 6 months! That's crazy! The last 6 months have gone by way to fast! It's definitely been a great 6 months though! I had to work on our actual 6 month day and we were going to go on a date Thursday night to make up for it, but we forgot it was Amber's (Travis' sister) Birthday. So, instead we went out to eat with Travis' family for her birthday dinner which was very fun and always entertaining! ;) After dinner, the waiter brought out a cake for Amber for her birthday but little did I know, he also had a cake for Travis and I for our Anniversary! It was so cute and I was very surprised!  I actually thought Travis forgot about it but nope! Thank you Travis!! And thank you for an amazing 6 months thus far! :)

Alan Jackson Concert

We went to the Alan Jackson Concert the other night with Travis and Caroline Hicks. The Band Perry opened up for him which was cool. While waiting for Mr. Jackson, we went to visit the girls from the office in their box seats. We watched Alan Jackson come on out and perform his first couple of songs from the box seats which was pretty awesome. We definitely love our Country Concerts! Now we just need Toby Keith and Taylor Swift!

Happy Halloween!!!

We spent Halloween this year with Travis' Best Friends Truman and Brandon and their girls. On Saturday night we Carved Pumpkins at Melinda's house with her family. I think we won the contest with our "Nightmare Before Christmas - Jack Skeleton Pumpkin" :) Then on Sunday we headed over to Truman's house for our own mini Halloween Party which consisted of ... a Game of Twister, Bobbing for Apples (p.s. which is a lot harder than it looks), making Carmel Apples, watching scary movies, and the best part .... going for a Haunted Tour in the Park!

Schraft Annual Barrel Racing

Travis' Aunt and Uncle, Justa and Tim Schraft, held their Annual Barrel Racing Party a couple of weeks ago. All of Travis' little cousins seem to know how to ride dirt bikes and how to do the barrel racing contests on the dirt bikes and the 4-wheelers. It was very fun to hang out with the family and watch all the little kids (and some adults) do the barrel racing.
After things calmed down a bit Travis was determined to show me how to ride a bike. I have always been very anti-motor bikes but for some reason Travis has definitely changed that in me. I now know how to ride a bike with a clutch and everything. Still a little shaky but I do have to agree with Travis and say that it is VERY fun and exhilarating!
